She was so welcoming and patient. She explained everything and made me feel so comfortable, even checking in on me throughout the week. I never thought I would say this, but I look forward to getting up early and getting to class! Julie and the other instructors are so motivating. For a newbie like me, this is exactly what I needed! I’s so glad I found Studio Spin!

I had a fantastic experience at Neighborhood Studio Spin in Glenview! Julie brought amazing energy and such a positive vibe to the class. She kept everyone motivated from start to finish, and the workout was both challenging and fun. I left feeling energized and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend taking Julie’s class!

Our take on indoor cycling

Built around your performance.

Your coach brings the energy. Your numbers help guide the work. In RIDE, your coach uses RPM, power, and heart-rate feedback to speak to your effort, even as the whole room rides together.

Your benchmarks give you a starting point. As you return, opportunities to remeasure help you see how you’re improving. Your after-class app summary lets you revisit that work beyond the studio.

It all supports the reason you came: to feel stronger and ready to take on your day.

What you ride for

Progress you can see. Strength you can feel.

Build endurance and stamina.

Sustained efforts and higher-intensity intervals train different parts of your cardiovascular capacity throughout the programming calendar.

See yourself improve.

Use RPM, power, and heart-rate feedback to follow your effort. Revisit your benchmarks over time to see how you’re progressing.

Train with a different purpose.

Intentional programming changes the focus across endurance, stamina, intervals, climbs, and higher-intensity efforts.

Take that strength into your day.

Make time to work toward feeling stronger, physically and mentally, and ready for what comes after class.

RIDE FAQs

Before you get on the bike.

How long is a RIDE indoor cycling class?

RIDE classes run for 45 or 60 minutes, with the full workout completed on the bike. RIDE + LIFT and RIDE + SCULPT open with a shorter version of the RIDE of the day, adapted to support the complete combination class.

Can I take RIDE if I’m new to indoor cycling?

Yes. Arrive at least 10 minutes early so your coach can help set up your bike and explain the screen. You’ll be guided using your own effort and metrics. RIDE + LIFT and RIDE + SCULPT also include a shorter version of the RIDE of the day as part of a broader combination workout.

Do I need my own cycling shoes or heart-rate monitor?

Bring your own if you have them. Cycling shoes and heart-rate monitors are available to rent at the studio, and your coach will help you get set up before your first class.

What makes RIDE different from other indoor cycling classes?

RIDE is performance-based, with progress you can measure. Your coach guides your effort using RPM, power, and heart rate, so you’re working against your own benchmarks. We periodically remeasure and retest during class, helping you see how you’re improving. Your numbers show how far you’ve come.

Is the workout the same every time?

The focus changes each day within a planned programming calendar. Your ride may train endurance, sustained stamina, climbs, shorter intervals, or higher-intensity VO2 max efforts. Every class includes a warmup and cooldown, while the timing and training purpose vary.

Can I see my cycling stats after class?

Yes. Your after-class summary in the Studio Spin app includes bike and heart-rate data. You can revisit your effort and compare similar rides over time to follow your progress.

What’s the difference between RIDE, RIDE + LIFT, and RIDE + SCULPT?

In RIDE, you spend the full 45 or 60 minutes training on the bike. RIDE + LIFT and RIDE + SCULPT start with a shorter version of the RIDE of the day, adapted to support the functional strength or Pilates-inspired mat work that follows.
