Studio Spin is the best studio around to make real gains in strength, cardio fitness and uplift your mental well-being. The community is welcoming, the coaches are fun, challenging and support you in hitting your goals, even if its just motivating to to show up with great play list, inspiring messages and FUN classes. I have never been more consistent with work outs since joining Studio Spin in September 2024. Julie is THE BEST for Spin and Lift and I love Rumble classes. You won't regret joining!

Our take on strength training

Pure strength. Built together.

LIFT keeps the focus on weight training. You stay in one room and work through traditional and functional strength movements with dumbbells, guided by a coach from start to finish.

The group does the reps together, creating accountability without competition. The studio provides weights for different strength levels, and your coach helps you select an appropriate starting point while watching your form.

Monthly strength benchmarks give you a personal point of comparison. The goal is simple: get stronger, feel better, and keep showing up for yourself.

What you lift for

Support muscles, bones, and movement.

Consistent weight training supports stronger muscles and bones while helping posture, mobility, and everyday movement.

LIFT FAQs

Before you pick up the weights.

What is a LIFT strength training class?

LIFT is a coach-led dumbbell strength workout. The class uses traditional and functional strength movements, with the entire room working through the reps together.

How long is a LIFT class?

LIFT classes run for 50 or 60 minutes. Class includes a warmup, focused strength rounds, and a closing core and stretch set.

Is LIFT suitable for beginners?

Yes. There are no separate class levels, and the studio provides weights for a range of strength levels. Your coach will demonstrate movements, help you select an appropriate weight, watch your form, and help you adjust.

Is LIFT a circuit training class?

No. You do not rotate through stations. The room stays together and completes the coached reps as a group.

Do I need to bring weights?

No. The studio provides dumbbells in a range of weights. Check in at the front desk and let your coach know if it is your first class.

How do I track progress in LIFT?

LIFT returns to a personal strength benchmark each month. It is not a competition with the room. It is a chance to compare your own work and see how your strength is building.

What is the difference between LIFT and RIDE + LIFT?

LIFT is dedicated dumbbell strength training with opportunities to use heavier weights and traditional movements. RIDE + LIFT begins with the RIDE of the day, adapted for the combination class, then moves into more dynamic, higher-rep functional strength work.
